Life in the Middle

Just have Faith †

Christian Homeschooled Girl

Hi, Faith here!

I am a Christian and I am homeschooled so a lot of people probably think I would be strange, and they’re right! I’m not insane though, I am just different as are you. In Alice in Wonderland they say, ” You’re entirely bonkers. But I’ll tell you a secret, all the best people are.” 🙂 This is an awesome quote that describes everyone. Me being a Christian homeschooler doesn’t mean I’m not like you at all, sure I’m a little different, but, “Why fit in when you were born to stand out?” (Dr. Seuss) I know I’m adding a lot of quotes but there are so many about being unique and that is just how I am. I know I am unique, but what are you?  Do you always try to fit in? Don’t try to fit in, be yourself, be different. 🙂 I would like you to know that I was once in public school, but my parents and I decided that I should be homeschooled. Maybe homeschooling isn’t for you and, that’s okay, but I think that it’s just right for me. ❤ I am a Christian and I would be lost without God. I love God with all my heart and I know that when times are rough I can just pray and trust in Him. That is the awesome thing about God, He loves us sooo much that He will take care of us when we are lost and don’t know what to do. Also, He sent His son to die on a cross because He loves us so much and we have sinned so many times that without Him we would have no hope and we would go to hell when we die. Instead, when we accept Him, He will give us eternal life in Heaven with Him. That is only if we pray this prayer and mean it though. If you feel like you should pray this prayer then here it is, it is the same prayer I once prayed, praying is easy, you just have to fold your hands, close your eyes, and say these words:  I acknowledge that Jesus Christ is God; that He came to earth as a man in order to live the sinless life that I cannot live; that He died in my place, so that I would not have to pay the penalty I deserve. I confess my past life of sin — living for myself and not obeying God.I admit I am ready to trust Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord.I ask Jesus to come into my heart, take up residence there, and begin living through me. Amen.

That wasn’t hard at all and if you have accepted Him and asked Him to come take care of you then you will be forever changed in an awesome way! Now all you have to do is keep studying His word! I am soooo happy if you have accepted Jesus into your heart! ❤ Now you need to keep this relationship with God up! Here is a link so that you can do that, it is called the Bible; I hope your relationship with God will be a successful and prosperous one and I think you should read a little from the Bible everyday.

My Poetry Thing

This is Faith. 🙂 In my last post, I wrote that I loved to write poetry. I have a love for writing and poetry comes easily to me. I am going to share my very first poem with you…

Winter’s Here!

Snowflakes drifting down to stay, so that we can play all day. In we go out of the snow, snow pants dripping from the wet, “Wait outside, don’t come in yet! Or your boots will make a mess! Then hot chocolate is a yes.” Snow stuff hanging up to dry, snow forts, snowmen, making shadows as the sun sets from the sky. Then Dad comes home from work to say, “Tell me a little about your day.” Excited shouts and pushing through, to tell him what we love to do!

I hope you liked my very first poem. 🙂 I will also share one about Life in the Middle with you…

Life in the Middle

Middle child, middle school, not too cute, and not too cool. (Some just take me for a fool.) Pre-teen, tween? Not a kid, not a teen. You’re too old to make a scene. You’re too young to make the team. You are just an in-between. But, it isn’t all that bad to be, someone who is just like me. You are not the guinea pig child. And you are not too very wild. Now that I think about this matter, I wouldn’t rather have the latter, in fact, I think I like it now, the way God made me anyhow. 🙂

I hope you liked my poems. Any questions?

Faith’s Life in the Middle

I’m Faith and I’m going to tell you about my life in the middle. Do you want to know the reason I chose Life in the Middle to be my blog name? I’m a middle child with one older sister and one younger sister. My older sister is Grace and my younger sister is Joy. I’m also a pre-teen or tween and I am in middle school, so, that is the reason I chose “Life in the Middle” for my blog name. Now that I’ve told you about my blog name I’ll tell you about my life…

I am twelve years old and I’m in 6th grade and I am homeschooled. I have been homeschooling since I was six and I couldn’t ask for a better teacher (for those of you that don’t know this, since I am homeschooled my mom would be my teacher). Grace is 13 and will be 14 in December, and Joy is 8 years old. I have a cat, 6 fish, and 12 chickens. I have a lot of hobbies and to let you know more about me I will list them.

  1. I love to play soccer and I have been playing it since I was 6.
  2. I love to sing.
  3. I love to read. (My favorite genres are fantasy and mystery. What are your favorite genres?)
  4. I love to write. Stories, poems, parodies on songs, everything!
  5. I love to act. I have lots of friends who like to act also, so, that’s kind of awesome.

I am a Christian and proud to be one. I hope to grow more in God every day. So far that’s all I’ve got. Thanks for reading my blog. 🙂 Any questions?
